Maintenance Engineer wanting to become a Field Service Engineer? Or maybe you're in a Service Engineer role where you have to do overseas commissioning and wish you didn't have to? If so, read on.
My customers have ranges of PLC controlled packaging, polymer processing machinery and precision machinery used in a wide range of industries from aerospace to food manufacturing. They need an extra Service Engineer to join the team which covers the UK, in the maintenance, service, repair, breakdown, installation and commissioning of these machines.
The company WILL gradually train you how to maintain their machines across the first year- you don't have to know them- BUT experience in electrical or mechanical, machinery engineering background in maintenance or service engineering is essential. This might be in packaging, moulding, CNC machine tools or PLC controlled machinery.
You'll get:
- A good basic salary, plus overtime after 40 hours (P60 earnings £44-47K)
- Pay award is pending. Plus daily food allowances (non taxable)
