Based in Northamptonshire, and growing substantially, my clients design, manufacture, commission, service and support several ranges of Process Instrumentation. With plans to grow further in the UK in 2020, they have a vacancy for a Field Service Engineer.

Working 50% in the base in Northamptonshire, and 50% of time Field Service on UK only customer sites, you'll be responsible for electrical, electronic fault finding, service, repair, calibration of their ranges of monitoring and process instrumentation, and then installation and service of the systems on site.

A background as a process instrument technician would be a good start- but training can be given on the specific process measurement and process monitoring instruments in the factory, and by accompanying other engineers. An ability to fault find electronically and electrically, to test, calibrate and repair devices is essential.
