If you'd like a position which takes your Mechanical Design, CAD abilities, and gets you involved in Project Engineering, pulling projects together, a bit of variety, read on.
I'm searching for a Design Engineer - mechanical engineering qualifications, some Autocad experience, materials, structures, fabrications design experience, possibly process machinery, conveyors, cranes, bulk handling- people from those backgrounds came to this department and they seem to do well.
They take a concept for a project, design the CAD layout, the fabrications, structures of a complete production line, and then get involved in pulling that production line project together, building up bills of materials, buying in parts, documenting the project, assisting in engineering and delivering it.
If you are a mechanical engineer with CAD and design skills like those I mentioned, and you want to advance your career in this direction, training can be given on the industrial applications to help you to handle the project work involved.
