Description

Proposals Tendering Engineer East Midlands Based To £60,000

Company growth, new markets, more enquiries have resulted in the need for an extra Applications Proposals and Tendering Engineer to join an expanding team. A key role at the heart of my  PLC HMI SCADA control systems client- part of the team which turns enquiries into projects, costings, proposals, tender documents, then helping to win the project for the company.

Preparation of Quotations, Estimating and Costing against enquiries, compiling proposals and tendering for projects within the UK Process Industries -- mainly ICA PLC, MCC, SCADA, Electrical  Control Panels, Control Systems. Factory Automation projects.

An electrical, automation, or PLC control systems knowledge would be perfect. Pricing up projects, proposals, tendering quotations experience would be ideal, and training can be given on the aspects that you know less about. Plenty of Electrical Design and PLC SCADA Project Engineers to ask for extra information here to help you to compile your proposal.

Ability to interpret customers’ needs by reading through tender documents, specifications, enquiries, and to be happy in talking to customers is essential. But rest assured, this is not a hard-nosed sales job.

Basic salary of £50K / £60K plus good bonuses and benefits inc flexible working, 37.5hr week. And with a period of growth planned for the company, this is a good time to join.

Send a copy of your CV to Mark Burnard of Hartland Recruitment for more details about the role.
