- Description
Mechanical Engineering experience, maintenance engineering or ideally field service engineering experience, based around the Midlands. You might have some knowledge of rotating machinery, pumps, valves, perhaps dairy or food process equipment such as mixing and blending, separators, centrifuges, liquid processing machinery. If not, don't worry, the company can develop these skills with training. The main thing- good mechanical engineering experience.
You'll be working for a large multinational Engineering machinery manufacturer, as part of their UK Service Engineering team, which maintains, services, repairs, installs and commissions their machines and pumps and valves, pipework and liquid processing machinery in many different factories, breweries, refineries. Most of the time you'll be working in the Midlands, but you will also have to assist Service Engineers in other UK regions too, so some time away from home will happen at that point.
This is a company with a lot of long-serving employees: they stay because they get looked after, treated fairly, and the range of benefits- good pension contributions, healthcare, 25 days + 8 holidays, paid overtime, added company bonus, comfortable vehicle, and a competitive basic salary help with that. But the company's secure background, good name as a leader in their field, and striving to have high engineering standards plays a part too.
