Location: Midlands (Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Northampton, Kettering)

Company Overview: A leading Control Systems Company providing support to a wide range of manufacturers, factories, and maintenance teams. With the rise of industrial automation across the UK, this team is in high demand, and growing. Hence the need for an  extra experienced PLC HMI Controls Support Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support to maintenance engineers.
  • Fault find using PLCs and software.
  • Use PLCs as diagnostic tools to identify and rectify issues (e.g., loose wires, faulty sensors).
  • Ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation of production machinery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
  • Familiarity with one or more PLC systems (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, S7, WinCC, Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi).
  • Strong fault-finding and hands-on skills.
  • Interest in fixing production machinery and deepening control systems knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
