An extra Field Service Engineer is required to join the UK Team of a leading packaging machinery manufacturer.

Its PLC controlled packaging machines - stretch wrapping, robot pallet wrappers-- are being used in a growing range of warehouses, manufacturing, factories in many ways, and with a bigger number of customer sites, they need an extra Service Engineer.

Based in the South Midlands (Beds/ Northants / Cambs/ Oxon etc) you'll be responsible for service, fault finding, electrical and mechanical maintenance of the packaging machinery, basic PLC diagnostics - and you'll assist other Engineers in the Commissioning of new machines in the Midlands and South and occasionally assisting those in the North if needed. Occasionally this can mean stays away- be prepared to stay away a night a week.

Experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer, with experience of electrical or mechanical repair, fault finding on PLC controlled packaging, manufacturing, processing machinery would be ideal. 

Salary, plus good paid overtime, and payment for all travelling time -- should result in earnings above £40000- £45,000, plus comfortable van, good pension, very thorough training, all expenses etc, and working in a friendly, engineer-led UK team.
