Electrical Design Engineer
St Neots / Bedford area | £50,000–£52,000 + benefits
Join a well-established, growing special purpose machinery manufacturer with strong international demand and a reputation for long-term careers.
You’ll be part of an experienced design team, developing electrical systems for both new machinery and upgrades to existing equipment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing electrical hardware, control panels and wiring schematics
- Producing drawings using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
- Specifying components (drives, sensors, safety systems)
- Supporting build and resolving design challenges on the shop floor
What we’re looking for:
- Proven Electrical Design Engineer experience
- Knowledge of EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience with control panel design, safety (e.g. EN13849), or machinery wiring
