Are you a Mechanical Engineer with an HNC, HND, or Degree and experience in CAD and design engineering? Looking for a role that challenges you and keeps things interesting?

Our client has grown significantly since 2021 and, with a strong order book of diverse machines, is ready to add another Mechanical Design Engineer to the team.

What you’ll do

• Take customer manufacturing challenges and design machines that deliver precision, speed, and efficiency


• Work on pneumatics, mechatronics, robot grippers, moving parts, and machine structures


• Produce 3D designs and production drawings using SolidWorks or similar


• Oversee builds and troubleshoot design issues


• Size and select components, create bills of materials, and perform mechanical/load calculations


• Involvement in Project Management – from concept through to delivery

What we’re looking for

✔ HNC, HND, or Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
✔ 3D CAD experience
✔ Mechanical Design Engineering experience
✔ Machinery design experience is ideal
✔ Permanent right to work in the UK (no future sponsorship required)
