Electrical Controls Design Engineer 

Role Overview:

• Electrical Hardware Design (70%): Designing electrical systems for PLC factory automation projects - general arrangements, MCC, control panel designs, wiring schematics, safety circuitry for machinery and conveyors.

• PLC Programming (30%): Get involved in PLC programming by assisting Controls Engineers on smaller projects. Any PLC control software programming experience would be welcome- Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, gradually rebuilding these skills.

Key Requirements would be:

• Electrical Design Experience: Autocad Electrical or EPlan is ideal, but experience with other tools like Solidworks Electrical, SEE, or Promis-E would be OK to start with.

• Willingness to get involved with PLC programming. Gives you a bit of variety too.
