Control Systems Engineer – PLC, HMI, SCADA Projects
Location: Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

A busy and well-established PLC, HMI, SCADA Control Systems Engineering company is expanding its control software design team. With a strong pipeline of factory automation projects for major manufacturers, they’re looking to add a skilled Control Systems Engineer to their growing team.
The Role
You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of control systems projects—from design through to commissioning. This includes:
- PLC programming from scratch
- HMI configuration (Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley: FTView, ControlLogix; occasional Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC)
- Acceptance testing and commissioning on customer sites, including some overseas travel
- Delivering complete, working control systems with real impact
This is a hands-on role with opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
