- Control Systems EngineerPLC HMI SCADA Process Industry ProjectsSalary: £48,000 – £55,000 + BenefitsA leading UK-based Systems Integrator specialising in PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions for the process industries is expanding its team. They’re seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to support a growing portfolio of automation projects.The RoleYou’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of control system development:• PLC Programming: Design and implement automation software using Siemens S7 TIA Portal or Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley)• Project Delivery: From Functional Design Specification (FDS) through testing, documentation, commissioning, and handover• HMI/SCADA Configuration: Experience with platforms such as FactoryTalk View, WinCC, or Wonderware is beneficial—but training can be provided• Site Work: UK-based commissioning with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, reliable systemsWhat We’re Looking For• Proven experience in PLC controls programming—Siemens or Rockwell preferred• Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems (configuration experience is a plus)• Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, fast-paced engineering team• Strong documentation and fault-finding skillsSalary & Benefits• £48,000 – £55,000 per annum• 33 days holiday• 6% pension contribution• Private healthcare• Development and training budget• Supportive team environment with exciting technical challengesInterested?Send your CV to Mark Burnard at Hartland Recruitment for more details.About UsHartland Recruitment is a specialist technical recruitment agency, placing engineers in the UK’s industrial automation, control systems, and machinery manufacturing sectors since 1990.
