Senior Control Systems Engineer - remote working

Work from home for a PLC HMI SCADA Control Systems integrator involved in a wide range of materials handling, conveyor systems, automation projects.

The only proviso is that you will be available for 8-9 weeks systems commissioning on UK customers sites per year.

You can be based anywhere in Central England.

That's the housekeeping out of the way. Now, what you'll be doing is PLC programming, HMI and SCADA systems design, documentation, from start to finish, from scratch to the end of the project. Not endless meetings, just working remotely, in a good team which stays in touch by TEAMS, but just uses their Control Systems Engineer experience to get on with it.

Useful: Siemens PLC programming experience, STEP 7 / S7 / TIA PORTAL systems integration experience. It's not a role for a trainee, but someone with experience of delivering then commissioning controls projects. Someone confident to deliver control systems software projects by themselves, because they've already done that before. Electrical background- able to work with drives, motors, control panels as part of the project.
