Description

Ideal for an Engineer who has a mix of electrical and mechanical and PLC or CNC machinery maintenance engineer skills, who wants to get into Field Service Engineering. 

The company is a world-class PLC CNC controlled, automated machine tool company, with customers in the automotive, aerospace, packaging, plastics, food manufacturing industries. Orders for new machines have increased each year. Hence the need for an extra Service Engineer to install and then service these machines on UK sites.

You'll work from the local office to be trained on the company's machinery, and then progress from maintenance calls to service and breakdown calls, to full commissioning of new machinery.

YOUR SKILLS: machinery fault finding and repair experience (could be packaging, CNC machine tools, processing, manufacturing machines for example) and an interest in a mobile role with a friendly, progressive machinery engineering company.

SALARY And Best bit about the company? People get looked after, people stay, it's friendly, they train you, you get involved in some great machinery projects for sports cars, F1, household name food companies, door to door pay means that your £32.5K basic will easily become £45k with higher rate overtime, comfortable company vehicle, 33 days holiday, plus benefits.

This position is commutable from Peterborough Huntingdon, St Neots, Bedford, Sandy, Biggleswade, Cambridge, Kettering, Northampton
