Description

Are you a problem solver with good PLC control systems skills? Able to work with PLC software, SCADA, networks, to locate a fault in the system, work with automated systems and machinery? Would you like to work for a big Engineering group, in a role with massive variety, on different customer sites, where no two days are ever the same?

My customer supports the Engineers working in several manufacturing sites, employing Engineers with good PLC control software ability to go to those sites and use their skills to rectify faults. Sometimes, you don't need to go to site-- often remote diagnostics from the office can give the customer a solution. But the range of customers, their use of Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi, of different HMI's and of different SCADA, and what they do with them in each site gives you that variety.

You're a confident problem solver, happy to work with PLC software, machines, industrial automation issues- maybe you've already done that for your present company and liked the "buzz" that solving problems gave you- and you want to do more of it.

Salary, car allowance, overtime, extra pay for out of hours working on a rota, profit share combine to bring a package of £52-£55K, plus other benefits, pension, holidays etc.

Regrettably there is no sponsorship for a UK work permit with this vacancy.
