- Description
60% factory based electrically and mechanically building, wiring, testing, fitting these PLC controlled machines, and then 40% travelling to sites for installation, fault finding and repair, service and maintenance of these machines.
Ideal background?Maybe an Engineer or Technician or a Maintenance Engineers who has worked on factory machinery such as packaging, conveyors, materials handling, machine tool installation, service, commissioning, panel wiring for example. Or an Engineer who has worked for another machinery manufacturer, building and assembling or servicing their machinery.
Service = mostly UK customer site trips- 1 in 15 might be overseas, but even then, you get to control when you go. So, a variety of work with a progressive company, developing clever fast industrial processing machinery, and a work life balance too.
Rewards: A good basic salary from £40000 - £45000, very high pension contribution, 33 days holidays- pool vehicle for site visits.
