- Description
You are a Sales Engineer, you understand PLC control and industrial automation, you know you can build business in this market, and now you want to move into Management, to go higher maybe. Then read on.
My clients are an established Engineering Company, skilled in designing PLC SCADA and Electrical Control Systems for UK Industry and Industrial Process Control projects. Their control panels are installed in many factories, and their control systems ultimately help you drive, eat, shower, and keep warm. Existing business is good, but they have a plan to grow. to deal with more customers, show more people what they can do- and as Sales Manager, and the main business development person, you'll be pivotal in this.
Using your existing Sales and PLC, Electrical control and automation knowledge, you'll talk to their existing customers, gradually develop business in newer customers, manufacturers, different processes. Use the existing customers, and hunt for new business too.
Being based in the Midlands will help you-- it's central, good road links, and being based in the East Midlands or West Midlands will also help you to be able to work from the office 2 days a week, and feel part of the team, have conversations with the Engineers to find out what they can really do, and help you to have the confidence in the "product" to be able to promote that. So anyone living in Nottinghamshire, Derby, Leicestershire, Birmingham and the West Midlands, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire maybe- all of these would be great locations to be successful-- and to move upwards in the company too.
Salary: You'll get a competitive basic salary in the £50K's, bonuses, car or car allowance, a good range of benefits including pension, healthcare, holiday - and the chance of going higher in the company is very real indeed.
