Description

If you understand how an Electrical Control Panel works, what the components of a Motor Control Centre are, how to lay out a PLC Control Panel- maybe you've wired them, maybe as part of that, you've done some CAD Design drawings. Maybe you've done the Electrical design of a few. Maybe you want to move on from that and make a full time career now as an Electrical Design Engineer? Or maybe you're an Electrical Designer now, and ready for a change to a company where you can contribute and grow. If some of that sounds like you- read on.

My clients build Electrical Control Panels, PLC, MCC's, several different types of control panel for several different types of industrial customer. They're busy, well backed and planning to grow. I want to find Engineer who has some experience of working on Control Panels as I said above, to develop their Design skills more- to get involved in electrical general arrangement CAD / Autocad drawings, panel layouts, schematics and wiring diagrams, inserting the drives, motors, PLC's into the panels, producing a bill of materials for each panel. Sometimes, they'll ask you to help out in building and wiring the panel that you have just designed, so it will keep your "hands on" skills too.

There's scope to grow as the company grows-- but there is definitely an opportunity to add some extra skills, gain PLC control and PLC programming skills here too, and in time, get involved in the software work of the company too. In this permanent job, you'll join a team which pitches in, helps each other, has a pride in the panel that they build. You'll be part of a well-backed company, work a 37.5 hour week, get a good range of benefits, and your salary will develop as you develop too.
