Some of the Mechanical Design Engineer's work will be "No problem- that's what we do" whereas others will be of the "Hmmm- how can I get that to work?" variety. So if you like a challenge, it's here.
My clients manufacture special purpose machinery, food processing, packaging and conveyor systems, always PLC controlled, sometimes incorporating robotic handling systems. With the growth of automation in factories, their order book is full of interesting projects.
I am searching for an experienced MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER to join the team. Machinery design experience would be a real asset here- someone from a packaging, process, conveyor, materials handling, machine tool, automated machinery manufacturing industry would be perfect.
You'll design your own projects from start to finish, from the initial 2D Autocad layout, the first concept, sizing selecting the components, pneumatics, subassemblies, the stainless steel structures, designing machined components, 3D Solidworks drawings, production drawings for a finished and built, ready to go machine.
