Description

Three years of record CNC Machine Tool sales in the UK provided the fuel for the company to grow in 2020. Now, with sales up by a further 30% already in 2021, there's a need for an extra FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER to join my client's Service Engineering Team.

It would be good to find a Midlands based Engineer - East Midlands or West Midlands based- someone with experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer- and especially experienced in working on CNC machinery. This could be lathes, milling, cutting, routing, right through to multiaxis CNC machining centres - the company has a range covering all of these.

The company will train you in their own applications- these are very specialised, so they expect to train you on the specific uses of their machine tools- by working you alongside an experienced Engineer, gradually training you across the range, and then you'll start to "fly solo" on machine maintenance calls, eventually working up to full service, installation and commissioning of machines.

The team covers the UK, so you'll have to be open to the idea of travelling, with just the occasional stay away. Living centrally in the Midlands should reduce the travel burden.

You'll get a good basic salary, plus good paid overtime, paid door to door, comfortable company vehicle, and the chance to work with a company of experts in their trade and for Directors who have done the job themselves, and understand.
