If you were the kid with the meccano kit, this is for you. I am looking for an Engineer, Technician, Fitter who can build one-off machines from the floor upwards, building prototypes for the Design Engineers, helping them to figure out "what works, what doesn't."

It's an Engineer with Solidworks or CAD skills, help to develop new machines, easier ways of building them, overcoming snags. so it will call on your existing Mechanical Fitting, Machine Building skills- then go up a level into problem solving, working with the Mechanical Design Engineers to suggest new ways around the problem. That's why we call it a Development Engineer more than a machine fitter.

You might have some basic electrical wiring skills to go with your hand fitting skills, and you might have worked for a packaging, conveyor, process, handling machinery manufacturer in the past, to have that experience to use in this role now.

You'll be working in an Engineer-led Company, with Engineers who come in from Coalville, Loughborough, Nuneaton, Coventry, Lutterworth and all parts of Leicester.
