Variable speed drives, stepper motors, servo motors, electric motors, drives and controls. If you understand what some of these do, how they work, what they can be used for, then I have a wide and varied role for you.

Each week, my client gets a number of enquiries from OEM's, R&D Teams, "We have a drive, motor, motion control design problem- can you solve this problem for us?" You'll take each enquiry, talk to the customers, your own design engineers, come back with a motor, drive, motion control solution which solves that problem, you'll do the costings, proposals, sell that solution to the customer. It can be done internally, but sometimes you'll want to go to see the customer face to face.

Every week gives you a new problem to solve, so it will use your engineering skills, and it will advance your existing knowledge of drives or AC DC motors or electric, electronic motion controllers too. 

You'll be working for a Hampshire company with a wide range of engineering capabilities, extremely friendly, growing, creating new opportunities for its people. It's commutable from towns such as Farnham, Basingstoke, Alton, and some come to the company from Guildford, Winchester too. It's all easily commutable.
