Busy before and during lockdown, and now growing, my Peterborough based machinery client has a vacancy for a CAD Draughtsperson or CAD Technician who can use their experience, and grow it too.

Each day, you'll work with Senior Engineers turning their sketches into proper CAD Drawings, Autocad 2D layouts, Solidworks 3D drawings of parts, subassemblies, production and fabrication drawings, and drawings that the company can use in its sales and proposals documents to win more projects from worldwide customers for its machinery and systems.

They will also use your mechanical qualifications- sizing and selecting parts for the machines, looking at weldments, designing parts to be made by sub-contract fabrication companies, machine modifications and developments.

But the basic requirement is for a CAD Draughtsperson with existing 2D and 3D CAD skills (Solidworks would be good, Autocad) and the mechanical engineering qualifications to assist in the workload.
