A busy PLC Automated production machinery manufacturer based in Suffolk is looking for an extra Engineer to handle Service, Installation, Repair and Commissioning of PLC special purpose machinery - part UK based testing, fault finding, pre- commissioning machines in the factory, part working on customer sites around the world.

A mix of short 1-3 day trips for service, fault finding, diagnosis and repair visits, together with longer 1-2-3 week trips to install and commission new machines on customer sites. But you know when the machine is going to be installed well in advance, so you can plan for it.

Experience of maintenance, service, repair, commissioning of PLC controlled machinery, some knowledge of drives and electric motors- along with the willingness to work away from home.

Others in the team have these backgrounds: high speed food processing, packaging and printing machinery, converting, filling, conveying, and generally PLC controlled machinery (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi for example), electrical mechanical. Specific training on the company's own machines will be given.

A competitive, negotiable basic salary will be supplemented by paid overtime, realistically resulting in £50000 each year in a busy and well established Company.
