After a decade of expansion, my clients are looking to the next decade- expansion, new jobs, new machines, new markets. They need to add an extra COMMISSIONING ENGINEER to a team which handles
a) Short Service, maintenance, repair trips to customer sites- UK and overseas.
b) 2 week Commissioning trips to install new machines- UK and overseas sites.
Every system they design has a large PLC control systems element to it- and so it's always important that the Commissioning Engineer has a range of PLC software, diagnostics, modifications, maybe even some PLC programming ability, to go with their electrical or mechanical main skills.
Working as part of the Engineering team from the factory, and travelling to site, the job is ideal for an Engineer living in the Bedfordshire Northants, Cambridgeshire area- this makes training you easier, feeling part of the whole factory, design and commissioning team, and also puts you in a good location for future roles within the company as it grows.
