Ideal for a Mechanical Engineer with 3D CAD draughting or design skills, who wants to do a bit more than just CAD, but to also get involved in hands-on mechanical assembly of prototype machinery - a bit of this, and a bit of that.

Part of a growing engineering group, my clients design, manufacture and build special purpose machinery inside their factory, and the machines are constantly evolving, so there are opportunities to join in a flexible role, and grow in CAD design and development and mechanical engineering as the company grows too.

What do we need?

3D CAD skills are essential. Ideally Autocad Inventor, but other 3D CAD such as Solidworks would be OK, if you're happy to train in Inventor

Mechanical Engineering skills and qualifications are essential. You'll be CAD drawing sheetmetal parts, subassemblies for the machines, and also assisting in hand fitting and assembling the prototype machines the team is developing.

Salary depends on experience but ranges from £30,000 to £35,000. Plus benefits, for 37.5 hours of interesting, varied work.
