What do we need? A Mechanical Engineer with Process or Machinery Projects experience. Others have joined with Food Industry, Packaging, Conveying, or Process Machinery, Brewery, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Petrochemical project engineering experience. Someone who accepts that travel is part of the work- the company exports 80% of its machines, so you need to work internationally in this role too. Someone who who actually likes hands-on involvement too (happy to change a pump, valve, sensor, conveyor belt, assist the electricians, oversee commissioning on site).

As a Project Engineer you'll be Project Planning, compiling Machinery Layouts or P&ID's, scheduling the machinery build for 3-4 machines and conveyors for that project, monitoring the project costs, customer meetings in the UK and overseas, and then finishing the projects on site. 

Salary: £42000 basic salary PLUS Bonus PLUS Paid Overtime, PLUS Company car, plus benefits. Earnings are high: Each of the Department earns £62K and above each year.

Location: The role is commutable from: Huntingdon, Ely, St Ives, St Neots, Bedford, Peterborough, Stamford, Corby, etc.
