- Description
You're an Engineer, but you're also a good communicator, and you like variety and you want to join a growing, international Engineering company which develops highly technical precision machinery, works with big-name customers around the world, and helps to push the technology forward, to help put food on the world's table, to keep that world sustainable. There are plenty of reasons why you'd want to work in this role, for this company. Read on.
We want to find an Engineer, HNC or above, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, who can work with customers across the world, talk with the Company's Design Engineers, Machinery Building, Controls Engineers and Mechanical Design Engineers, to source and deliver the machine upgrades, improvements, extras, modifications that the customers ask for. To get these designed, built, delivered and commissioned on factory sites across the world. To do all that gives you a lot of variety, from reading engineering drawings, getting trained on clever PLC controlled machinery and getting to know the many industries and how they're used, to talking to all of the different departments, to getting things organised, documented, to the right specifications, costs and deadlines. About 4 times a year, you'll also get to go to a customers' site somewhere in the world to help the Engineers to commission the machinery-- which helps keep your hands on skills, and gives you the chance to build your international career too.
WHY JOIN?
- A progressive Engineering role with a lot of variety from hands-on, to organising international high tech capital machinery projects
- 40 hour week: no shifts at all, but willingness to occasionally work a few extra hours to get a project out before its delivery date. Extra pay for this.
- Large international group, leading the field across the world, creating careers through growth, new applications, new technologies
- Pension (high contribution from the employer), 25 + 8 holidays, private health, regular career development meetings
