- Description
Set to grow at a rapid pace from 2023 to 2025 due to the growth of PLC HMI SCADA Factory Automation projects, my client wants to add to their growing team of Control Systems Engineers.
The new Control Systems Software Engineer will be programming, designing, documenting and commissioning a wide range of PLC HMI SCADA Factory Automation projects across many industries from food, pharmaceutical, beverage, automotive, packaging, materials handling and conveyor systems for companies adding extra PLC HMI SCADA robotics and automation to their manufacturing. The existing team often gets a "thank you for a great job" from the customer, followed by "here's some more work for you." Hence the growth. High quality work from a happy, experienced team = growth here.
Ideally the Control Systems Engineer would be able to design their own PLC control software projects, confident as a PLC programmer on Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC software (Controllogix, SLC500, TIA or S7 for example), and happy to take that project right through to UK ONLY site commissioning at the end. To do their own thing without a lot of management, pushing and shoving.
Any experience with other PLC's would be good too - Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider projects have been done before here too. System Platform, RS View, Wonderware Intouch, WinCC HMI SCADA have been done too.
WHY JOIN?
- You'll get a competitive basic salary in the £40K's, negotiable depending on your experience
- Paid overtime after 40 hours
- Performance related bonus
- Pension, holiday, plus other benefits coming for 2023 including electric vehicle scheme
- You will already have the right to work in the UK, but sponsorship for a UK Work Permit will be available to the Engineer from 2024 onwards.
- There are also chances to keep adding to your skills as industrial automation keeps evolving- the company has good training and support links with the hardware suppliers to make sure that your skills don't fall behind.
- Freedom to do what you do best.
