If you have an understanding of machine safety, functional safety, if ISO 61508, ISO 61511, ISO 62061, ISO 13849 are standards you have worked with, read on.
My customers design machines - they are busy and growing. They want to continuously improve their designs, and as they develop new machines or enhance older ones, cover every aspect of machinery safety. They have created a new role for an Engineering Manager to be responsible for EVERY aspect of Machine Safety Design. An Engineering Manager who understands functional safety, machinery guarding, safety requirement specifications (SRS), understands electrical design and PLC control software design, to lead the design and safety improvements, project by project across the range and future ranges of machinery.
Nice to have? TUV, CMSE, FSeng, some Pilz safety training, functional safety, safety design experience.
