I want to find an ABB Robot programmer, who has done a little bit of PLC software work, and who wants to develop those PLC skills. If that's you, and you live within 25 miles of Coventry, send me your CV.
I have a job where you can jump in, use your Robotics programming skills, and the company will train you up in PLC programming, so that you can become a confident Control Systems Engineer.
Kuka Fanuc useful, but ABB will be the main robot on most projects.
(Experienced Siemens S7 Controls Engineers also needed too!)The plan is this. The company has many live ABB Robotics projects which you can join the team straight away, using your existing ABB Robot programming knowledge, in design and commissioning. In tandem with this, the company will develop your PLC programming skills, send you on Siemens or Rockwell Automation /Allen Bradley courses, gradually develop your PLC software ability from where it is now, to a fully fluent PLC programmer and Control Systems Engineer.
