International demand for my customers machinery has created the need for an extra Design Engineer to join the team which modifies and improves the existing range of machinery, designs machinery projects linking these together, and designs and develops new ranges of machines for the future.

Using Solidworks, you will be designing and developing or modifying existing machinery to fit the customers application-- specifying moving parts, pneumatics, gears, cams, rotating machine parts, looking at materials, speeds etc. All of the parts that go together to make a working machine better, faster, stronger, easier to manufacture. Sometimes, you might be working in a project team to design the conveyors linking 3 machines together, sometimes involved in development of a new subassembly, a new feeder mechanism, a long term development of a new packaging or processing machine.

What do they want? An experienced Mechanical Engineer, 3D CAD experienced, maybe from the machinery, special purpose machines design development industry- could be packaging, processing, assembly, test, automotive, industrial machinery design, for example.
