My customers manufacture subassemblies for the Aerospace and Defence industry using CNC processes, fabrication, steel, aluminium, coating and some unique processes to achieve finish and hardness, which make the work of the Design Engineer really interesting. It can get you into some discussions with top named Aerospace, Aeronautical, MOD and international companies, where you can solve their problems.

Their Mechanical Design Engineers work from the customers Solidworks or 3D drawings and suggest ideas,improvements, design for manufacture, ways to improving the design of components, sub-assemblies, replying with CAD designs of how your company can add to and manufacture the item. They help in costing and quoting and pricing the project, and they work through the project together with the customer. They design CNC machined components using their knowledge of how you machine components. 

What do they want? An experienced Mechanical Engineer, 3D CAD experienced, maybe from the aerospace or similar industry, perhaps machined component or fabrications design experience. Someone who has this experience, but is open to learning a unique manufactuing process, seeing how you cna use it in your work, and grow with a growing modernising manufacturing company.
