Description

You're an Electrical or Electronic Engineer with some PLC controlled machinery experience - but you want to join a company that will train you, develop that experience further. Read on.

My customers design, build, commission and service complicated packaging machinery- always PLC controlled, large, filled with drives, servos, electrical control panels, sensors and pneumatics.

They like to train their Engineers and specialise in taking what you've got now, and adding to it with training and development over a year, taking you from (say) a maintenance engineering background into testing the machines, downloading PLC software and checking panel wiring, instruments, controls. Gradually to a level where you can Service, repair, fault find, and be part of a team installing and commissioning the machines on customers' sites. Sometimes you'll go right through from building and testing a machine right through to commissioning it on a customers' site anywhere in the world. Other times, you'll go to sites in the UK or overseas to service, repair or upgrade a machine that's already being used.

It's a mix of training you now, then preparing you for a role working with the machines in the factory and travelling to customers' sites. There will be travel- there will be overseas travel- not masses of it, but you'll have to be open to doing this.

If you have a mix of PLC, electrical or electronics engineering skills, machinery fault finding experience, and want to expand this, get trained, work on complex machines, travel, earn more as you learn more, gain a great career in a world-beating company, then.....
