Description

As part of a growing, financially strong multinational Engineering group, my client aims to grow its Essex- based team, which produces PLC HMI SCADA control systems for the water treatment, manufacturing and process industries.

A Controls Engineer is sought to join the team - they will be responsible for PLC programming for each project from start to finish, and configuring HMI and SCADA on some of the projects- working right through from the FDS to the on site commissioning in a team. (Commissioning on sites usually within a 30 mile radius).

You'll be experienced in one of these: Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, Siemens / TIA Portal or Mitsubishi PLC programming. Some ability with HMI's would be good, some electrical engineering knowledge would be good too.

What's different? If you like to work without constant meetings- to just get on with it, get the systems done your way without masses of interference, that's how it's done here. It's an engineer-led company, and the group wants to grow it, so it's a good time to join to be part of that long-term future.

Salary will be somewhere around £45000, plus good benefits and high pension contributions, opportunities to add to your skills too.

Commutable from: Aside from Chelmsford, others come in from Basildon, Southend, Rainham, Brentwood, Witham, Billericay, Maldon etc.
