If you have a background in Subcontract CNC Machining and Fabrication, as an Engineer or preferably in Sales, Quotations, winning business, Business Development, this role could be one to use what you have, and then take that forwards towards a Directorship, or General Management.

My client is an expanding, modernising CNC Machining and Metal Fabrication business, based in Hertfordshire, serving MOD, Aerospace, Manufacturing customers across the UK. A Business Development Manager role has been created to spearhead that expansion, by talking to new and existing customers, educating the customers about the company's fabrication and CNC machining process capabilities, and "what more we can do for you."

Success in this role should lead to a role as a Director, or managing and developing the Company as General Manager.

You'll be based in the Northern Home Counties, be a Mechanical Engineer able to discuss technical requirements with customers, and ideally have a sales engineering background in the CNC machining, Subcontract machining and fabrication industries or similar, with the ambition to build an order book and a company that you could eventually lead.

Salary circa £50,000 £55,000 plus benefits, possible share options etc.
