A manufacturer of special purpose packaging and process machinery has asked us to search for an Engineer living in the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire area to join their Business Development Team.

You will become part of a small Sales Engineering team which talks to existing international customers, manufacturers, process and food manufacturers, to get enquiries for machinery orders. You'll concentrate on winning orders from one continent in the world, doing quotations, proposals for machinery, process, materials handling, conveying, packaging equipment projects for your customer.

Working from Bedfordshire- mostly from the office, via video, but also with some foreign travel per year when possible, getting help from more experienced members of the team.

Some experience of sales or project engineering-  knowledge of machinery, packaging machinery, process machinery, capital equipment, conveyors, pumps, compressors, food, brewery, dairy, manufacturing or process industries would be an asset. Mechanical Engineering qualifications also help when compiling quotations and proposals for a complete system, calculations, speeds, etc.
