A Controls and Automation Engineer to work for a growing and secure manufacturer of PLC controlled process machinery. A mix of working inside the design office in PLC programming, control software design, assisting with electrical design of the machinery, control panels. Then test, debug, documentation, pre-commissioning of the finished machine, acceptance tests etc. Then travelling to the customer site to oversee and inspect the electrical and mechanical installation, and commissioning of the machine, controls, setting it to work and handlng it over.
So-- genuinely start to finish involvement in the machine project.

Machine automation experience is the key here- PLC programming- one of Allen Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi software experience - maybe located in Biggleswade area, such as Bedfordshire Northants, Cambridgeshire, North Herts -- happy to work on projects involving some oversea and UK site commissioning at the end.
