Extremely busy PLC Automated Machinery manufacturer needs to expand its Commissioning Service Engineering team, so Engineers in the Bedfordshire Northants, Cambridgeshire area who understand PLC controlled systems, diagnostics, some PLC software programming experience.

There will be time in the factory- checking over machines, testing the PLC software, the drives, motors, conveyors, electrical, mechanical setup. There might be chance to gain some extra skills working alongside the Design Engineers sharpening up your PLC programming skills too (on Allen Bradley, Siemens and other PLC's they use).

You will then commission these food process and packaging machines in all parts of the world, so travel must be one thing to accept in this job- or look forward to- or maybe you've already done it and know what it means. During Covid, some commissioning was done remotely, and perhaps this will continue, but when we go back to normal, you have to expect to travel.
