- Description
A CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER is sought to design Electrical Control Panels and PLC control software for projects in the factory automation, food, pharmaceutical, brewery, materials handling and conveying fields.
With an increasing order book, and a variety of automation and process control projects, this would be a good time to join the company, and get involved in an interesting range of work.
The plan is to find an experienced Engineer to add to the existing team, to work as a senior engineer on their own projects from start to finish, including PLC HMI programming, modifications, upgrades, some electrical design for the project, commissioning on site at the end of the project. The great feeling of "I did that" at the end.
If you have a background in PLC programming / Control Software design, with an Electrical background to be able to do control panel designs, wiring schematics, then I'd like to hear from you.
Although all of the Engineers here have an Industrial Automation background, examples of people's backgrounds include, packaging, conveying, warehouse automation, bulk materials handling and powder handling projects, baggage handling, food process control, pharmaceutical automation, Allen Bradley or Siemens S7 TIA Portal, Mitsubishi control projects -- all good examples of what they do here.
Though the website gives Bury St Edmunds as the location, the vacancy is commutable from Ipswich, Stowmarket, Thetford, Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall, Newmarket, possibly Cambridge and A14 corridor .
