Our clients are responsible for many food manufacturing, process machinery, packaging line upgrades each year. They have expanded across the last decade, and 2020 marks the start of more well-funded expansion.

An extra Mechanical Design Engineer role has been created. Joining a design team, you'll take part in the mechanical design of projects - ranging from a complete production line (from the initial site survey to producing the layout drawings of the various machines, conveyors, fixtures which join together for the line, all of the moving part calculations, hydraulics, pneumatics, stresses, supports and steel structure designs, the machine safety and guarding design, production drawings etc). You'll also work on smaller projects- a new packaging line, new conveyor design, or to help a food manufacturing customer with a re-design or modification to a conveyor, to upgrade old machines.

What do we need? Mechanical Engineering qualifications, 2D and 3D CAD skills (Solidworks, Autocad Inventor, any 3D) design engineering experience, any machinery or similar projects experience would be very useful.
