A leading machinery manufacturer has asked us to search for 2 Mechanical Fitters or Mechanical Technicians to add to their team which builds various forms of industrial machinery from engineering drawings.

An Apprenticeship or some form of mechanical or engineering qualification is required, together with mechanical fitting, hand fitting experience. You might have had experience of building and assembling machines before- conveyors, packaging machinery, production machines, machine tools, or the one- off special purpose machines that this company often builds. Sometimes you might strip the machine down, follow it to the customers' site and assemble it, see it working as part of the installation team. It's always good to see what you built actually working!
