Service, Installation, Repair and Commissioning of PLC special purpose machinery - part UK based testing, fault finding, pre- commissioning machines in the factory, part working on customer sites around the world.

Some site trips will be short service, fault finding, diagnosis and repair visits, mixed in with longer 1-2-3 week trips to install and commission new machines on customer sites.

Experience of maintenance, service, repair, commissioning of production machinery, PLC control software diagnosis and minor modifications, ability with electrical motor control, drives, inverters, some knowledge of servo or stepper motion control would be ideal- along with the willingness to work away from home.

Typical backgrounds of other engineers here: packaging, printing, high speed food processing, converting, conveying, cartoning, filling, PLC controlled machinery (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi for example), electrical mechanical.

A competitive, negotiable basic salary will be supplemented by paid overtime, realistically resulting in £50000 each year in a busy and well established Company.
