My client is a Yorkshire based Control Systems Engineering company- producing Electrical Control Panels and PLC SCADA systems- and winning these projects from several process industries from food to chemical, power, water, pharmaceutical, brewery.

They have an active Sales Engineering and Business Development team which keeps the business going with a steady flow of enquiries and orders won, and the Company receives many more enquiries too. That's why they need a commercial engineer, a Proposals Engineer to support them.

The Proposals Engineer will respond to Electrical Control, MCC, PLC, SCADA systems enquiries from process engineering companies- turning these into estimates, costings, quotations, technical replies, proposals documents - helping the Sales Engineers to win these orders. 

It could be a role for an Engineer who has some basic knowledge of PLC, Instrumentation, Electrical or Control Systems Engineering who wants to get involved in sales, commercial, internal sales, project engineering. Not a hard-nosed sales job at all, but an essential one to the growth of the company, and one which could lead on to other things.
