- Description
An Engineer with good PLC fault finding / PLC diagnostics skills based in the South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Notts, Derbyshire area. Could be an engineer with well-developed PLC fault finding, PLC software modifications experience, or possibly a recent graduate or recent apprentice who has a lot of PLC exposure and wants to make a career in automation engineering,
You'll use your PLC software skills by going to customers sites (food, steel, factory automation, automotive, chemical etc) assisting maintenance engineers to fault find PLC controlled issues. You might also have some PLC programming, Drives, HMI skills to assist them with upgrades or modifications too. Any knowledge of Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation, or Siemens S7 PLC or Mitsubishi PLC or similar.
It's a growing team, and so there's scope for someone with a bit of ambition to grow with the company as it grows.
Candidates must be able to work in the UK.
Salary depends on experience, but typically will be from £28000 - £30000 plus good paid overtime, plus a generous car allowance, benefits and skills development where needed.
