My client designs and builds PLC controlled machines for several UK industries- from packaging and conveying, weighing, test and assembly systems. With 5 years of record machinery sales behind them, more machines on more sites, they need an extra SERVICE and COMMISSIONING ENGINEER to a) service support, maintain machines already used on customer sites and b) Installation and Commissioning of new machines on customers sites.

The way is open for an East Midlands based Engineer to use their electrical or mechanical and PLC machinery skills to work partly in the factory (30%) testing built machines, then installing them (40%), working with Robots, fast automated machinery for leading UK customer site customers. Then being able to use their electrical, mechanical PLC fault finding skills to assist in maintenance and support of the existing machines (30%).

Your background might have come from factory maintenance engineering - packaging, conveyors, machine tools, or another machinery manufacturer where you have gained some experience of working with automated, PLC controlled machines, drives, machine control systems. The company can take some of this- and train you on the rest.
