Engineering's role in Britain's economic health has been set out in a new report that reveals the sector is responsible for £280Bn of the country's gross product-- 20% of the UK's total in March 2015. (Daily Telegraph)
The study also found that engineering's output has rebounded back above its 2007 level, meaning the sector has made up the ground lost as a result of the financial crisis.
