- Description
My customers design systems for the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical Industry, such as water treatment systems - desalination, filtration, skid mounted systems, liquid process systems comprising many pumps, valves, heat exchangers, dosing systems and pipework. Their systems are essential to the life on each oil installation, bringing water and heat to the rig, reducing the environmental impact too. These factors keep the company increasingly busy with a widening range of projects.
Due to growth, a role has been created for an experienced Project Manager to join, and add the weight of their process, oil, gas petrochemical engineering experience to this role, which includes the planning, management, monitoring, control and closure of capital machinery, process and engineering projects in the onshore and offshore industries. Leading a Project team of Designers and Engineers, managing subcontractors, managing customer expectations, costs, budgets, deadlines, milestones, planning and delivering a quality engineering project to the standard that blue chip oil customers expect.
What do they want? An experienced Mechanical Engineer, who has moved into Project Engineering, understands the petrochemical world, feels that they can contribute to bringing in projects which involve some of these: P+ID's, systems involving pumps, valves, vessels, flow instrumentation, chemical dosing systems, flow and pipework, or possibly systems involving waste heat recovery, heat exchangers, steam generation and gas turbines, combustion, incinerators, energy from waste and renewables projects.
Salary: You'll get a competitive basic salary, bonuses, high pension contributions, healthcare - and exposure to a vast array of interesting work in a collaborative team, and a genuine opportunity to build a career within a growing company. There's scope to do some hybrid work too.
