- Description
You are a Control Systems Engineer, a PLC programmer, a control software developer- but you want to join a company where you can learn new skills, work for a boss who actually appreciates you, work hybrid to fit in with your family life, for a company that gives you an electric vehicle AND installs the home plug in point for you to use it. A small thing maybe, but I think that shows the type of company you'd be joining.
My clients are busy, their business is growing, they're developing a name in the food and drink industry, and they have room for 2 more experienced Control Systems Engineers who can develop PLC code (might be Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron....Ladder, Statement, Structured TIA, S7, SLC whatever you want to call it, the company can use it). Electrical knowledge would be good, and HMI SCADA configuration experience would be good too. Working at home, then part at the office, and part commissioning on LOCAL customer sites in East Anglia and the East Midlands.
Your Location: Being based in the East Midlands or East Anglia will help you to be able to travel to the rurally based HQ near Peterborough for 2 -3 days a week, or to your customer sites. But at this level, it's not a job for a junior, a trainee: you must be able to design and engineer your own PLC projects.
Salary: You'll get a competitive £48000-£50,000 basic salary, bonuses, some paid overtime, company electric vehicle, a good range of benefits including pension, healthcare, holiday - the backing to learn and use new controls skills, and to grow as the company grows.
