Description
PLC Automation Support Engineer
£36000 - £38000 + Paid Overtime, Company Car, benefits

An ideal next job for a Maintenance Engineer or Technician looking to use more of their PLC fault finding or PLC controls, automation diagnostics experience, with a lot of variety.

Skills: Having just added one good Engineer to this team, my clients would like to find another extra Engineer with ability to diagnose faults using Allen Bradley, Siemens S7 or Mitsubishi PLC's. The Engineer will then go to their UK customers' sites to assist site Maintenance Engineering Teams to locate faults on PLC controlled automation systems and machinery. They will also add to their own skills by working alongside PLC programmers working on new automation projects.

Living in the Midlands- Birmingham to Leicester area would be ideal, and if you had any ability to modify PLC software, or work with HMI or SCADA, that would be a great bonus, but it's not essential. Fault finding using PLC's will be enough.

The future: It's a great time to join this growing company, and in a growing department too. The company is creating new opportunities for its people, and likes to promote from within wherever possible.

Salary: You'll receive a basic salary of £36000 - £38000, plus paid overtime if required, plus car or car allowance, good benefits, healthcare, and professional development.
